Kano Pillars have made their position clear: the club will not be distracted by what it describes as malicious and misleading allegations being spread by certain individuals and groups as preparations for the 2026–27 NPFL season continue.
In a statement, the club said it is actively reviewing every allegation currently in circulation and will issue responses supported by facts and verifiable records when the time is right. The Sai Masu Gida were firm that while they welcome constructive criticism as part of genuine growth, deliberate misinformation, character assassination and any effort to manufacture tension around the team will not be tolerated.
The club tied all of this to a broader transformation agenda, which it says is aimed at repositioning Kano Pillars as a model football institution built on transparency, accountability and a serious commitment to excellence.
This comes after General Manager Ahmed Musa dissolved the entire management team following the conclusion of the 2025–26 NPFL season — a decision that clearly signalled the club's intent to do things differently going forward.
For supporters, the message from the club is straightforward: the people running Kano Pillars know what they are doing, they are working through a deliberate process, and outside noise will not knock them off course. The focus is squarely on getting the foundation right before the new season begins.
