Kano Pillars suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat away to Enugu Rangers International on Matchday 24 of the Nigeria Premier Football League on Sunday.

The result at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu saw Sai Masu Gida concede twice without reply, continuing a difficult run of away form.

Emmanuel Essine opened the scoring for the hosts in the 11th minute, putting Rangers ahead early in the contest.

The second goal came three minutes into the second half when Mohammed Mukhtar turned the ball into his own net, sealing the defeat for the visitors.

Pillars saw three players booked during the match—Mustapha Umar in the 26th minute, Abdullahi Musa in the 59th, and Fahad Usman in the 69th minute.

Katsina United recorded a comfortable 2-0 victory over Abia Warriors at the Sani Abacha Stadium, with Uche Collins scoring both goals.

Niger Tornadoes came from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Bendel Insurance in Minna. Bendel Insurance led through first-half strikes from Nnamdi Anthony and Chinedu Nwosu, before Abdulaziz Dalhatu and Rickson Mendos brought Tornadoes level after the break.
