Kano Pillars could not find a way past Enyimba on Matchday 6, with the two sides sharing the points in a goalless draw. Neither team managed to break the deadlock across the 90 minutes, and both clubs left the pitch with one point added to their tally.

The result means Pillars have now gone three matches without a win, having also drawn 1-1 away to Inter Lagos on Matchday 5 and 2-2 away to Kwara United on the opening day of the season. Fans will be hoping the team can return to winning ways soon, especially after showing they can score goals in bunches, as they did in their 4-1 home win over Doma United FC on Matchday 4 and their 3-2 victory against Niger Tornadoes on Matchday 2.

Matchday 6 across the Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League produced a number of big results elsewhere. Warri Wolves edged past Shooting Stars 1-0, with Othuke Egbo scoring inside eight minutes. Abia Warriors delivered the standout performance of the round, thrashing Bendel Insurance 3-0 through a brace from Emeka Obioma (24th and 40th minutes) and an opener from Ikoi Etta in the 16th minute.

Plateau United also picked up a strong home win, beating Inter Lagos 2-0 courtesy of goals from Gideon Monday and Jibrin Ibrahim. Ikorodu City defeated Enugu Rangers 2-0, with Aderemi Adeoye and Ikechukwu Junior on target. Nasarawa United saw off Niger Tornadoes 1-0 through Harrison Ebah's early strike, while Kun Khalifat beat Kwara United 1-0 thanks to a goal from Agor Chukwuma in the 64th minute.

Katsina United also claimed a hard-fought 2-1 win over Doma United, with Luis Dadong converting a penalty and Mukhtar Ismail scoring the winner, despite Sadiq Rilwan's equaliser for Doma. The Ranchers Bees versus Rivers United fixture from the round has been pushed to Monday.

Pillars will now look to bounce back when they host Sporting Lagos FC at home on Matchday 7, on October 3, 2026. Supporters will be hoping the team can find their scoring touch again and turn that draw against Enyimba into a launching pad for a stronger run of results.
