Technical adviser Muhammed Babaganaru remains convinced that Kano Pillars will survive the relegation battle currently facing the club this season.
Sai Masu Gida sit in 19th place on the league table after collecting 25 points from 24 matches, leaving the team in a precarious position as the campaign continues.
The Rangers defeat in Enugu last Sunday, which ended 2-0 in favour of the Coal City club, highlighted the challenges ahead for Babaganaru's squad.
Speaking after the loss, the technical adviser pointed to tactical indiscipline as the reason for the result rather than a lack of effort from his players.
"Not that the boys didn't play well in the game but we lost to tactical indiscipline," Babaganaru said in his post-match interview.
He emphasized that the fight is far from finished and expressed strong belief in the team's ability to climb away from danger.
"We will keep on working hard because it's not over yet. I'm very optimistic that this team will come out of this relegation struggle," Babaganaru added.
Pillars face another test this weekend when they take on defending champions Remo Stars in what will be another crucial fixture in the battle for survival.
