Goalkeeper Destiny Abuchi has insisted Sai Masu Gida are focused on claiming all three points when they host El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday in their Matchday 27 fixture.
Speaking to Kano Pillars media ahead of the clash, Abuchi stressed the importance of building on the away point earned against Kwara United in their previous outing. "The away point in the clash against Kwara United is very important for us as we are returning home to try and consolidate on the result in Ilorin," the goalkeeper said. "We are really focused on getting the victory against El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday."
Abuchi's comments reflect a team determined to maintain their recent form, which has seen them collect two wins, one draw and one defeat from their last four NPFL matches.
The fixture comes at a crucial time for Pillars, who currently sit in 18th position on the league table with 29 points.
Victory on Sunday would be vital as the team continues to push away from the relegation zone and climb the standings.
